The Boxing Club in Langley Mill has proved to be a success for the younger community within the Langley Mill and Aldercar area.
Jim Allen the owner of the Boxing Club highlighted the need to improve the facilities for the young boxers who considered the club to be the ideal place to 'hang out' and learn new skills.
The boxing was able to gain �4000 from a variety of funding sources to help improve the toilet facilities. Since the new facilities have been fitted the club has proved to be more popular than ever!
Many people saw the benefits of the Boxing Club for the younger community and welcomed the changes.
The club provides the opportunity for ypunger people to keep fit and healthy and teaches new skills that young people can look forward to achieving."
